Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a Clinical Services Coordinator for the Allergy and Immunology division to coordinate team activities and provide administrative support for complex clinical programs such as Oral Immunotherapy and Food Challenge.

The role focuses on optimizing scheduling, improving patient access, and partnering with providers and leadership to support divisional growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum four years of related administrative experience.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop an organized scheduling process for subspecialty patients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Serve as primary problem-solver for providers and Division Administrator; identify performance improvement goals.
• Coordinate referrals and scheduling with referring practices.
• Verify benefits, precertifications and payers; secure necessary approvals for coordinated care.
• Support event planning and division communications; promote departmental activities.
• Monitor division progress with leadership; address questions and regulatory or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clinical database on subspecialty patients and ensure data quality.
• Assist with research and education activities as needed.
