Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant or Nurse for a full-time role in the Plantation Allergy Clinical Department. The successful candidate will multitask in a busy clinic, take histories, assist with injections and skin tests, and ensure accurate charting and documentation.

Travel between office locations may be required. Requirements include at least two years of hands-on clinical experience, proficiency in medical terminology, and current MA

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' hands-on clinical experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients for 20–40 minutes following allergy protocols.
• Take patient histories, administer injections, and perform skin tests.
• Obtain authorizations, prepare exam rooms, and maintain sterilization standards.
• Review and reconcile patient information in EMR before physician review.
• Provide patient briefing prior to physician entering exam room.
• Assist with chart accuracy and document discrepancies.
