Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida has an opening for a Medical Assistant at our East Boca office. This full-time role supports in-office procedures, takes vitals, and assists physicians during exams.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of hands-on MA experience, is proficient with medical terminology and EMR, and demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year hands-on Medical Assistant experience.
• Certification or willingness to participate in in-house 1-year training and national exam.
• Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a clear speaking voice.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
• EMR experience and computer literacy.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answering patient calls.
• Taking vitals.
• Obtaining authorizations.
• Scheduling diagnostic tests and surgeries.
• Preparing exam rooms.
• Assisting the physician in exam rooms for procedures.
• Scribe duties.
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments per CDC/ENTAAF guidelines.
• Provide patient briefings before physician enters exam room.
