Responsibilities include planning and evaluating care, coordinating across disciplines, and mentoring staff in a fast-paced environment. Licensure and BLS are required, with a preference for BSN.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required by state law.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient condition; coordinate across disciplines.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age and condition.
• Delegate care to ancillary staff and mentor students/new hires.
• Work with critical thinking and independent action in a fast-paced setting.
