We are currently looking for an Allergy Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team.

Job Summary:
The Allergy Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in our allergy department. This role involves assisting healthcare providers in delivering comprehensive allergy assessments, treatments, and management plans. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping patients manage their allergies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting allergy evaluations, including detailed patient histories and assessments.
- Perform and interpret skin tests and assist with other allergy diagnostic tests.
- Administer allergy injections and other prescribed treatments per physician protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on allergy management, treatment options, and medication usage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting findings and treatments in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and referrals as necessary.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all medical supplies are stocked and ready for use.
- Collaborate with allergists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Adhere to infection control standards and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Participate in training and continuing education to stay current with the latest practices in allergy care.

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or active LPN license in Colorado.
- Allergy certification preferred (e.g., through the American Association of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology).
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in allergy or related specialty.
- Strong knowledge of allergy treatments, medications, and patient care practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health records and basic computer applications.
