Job summary

Family Allergy & Asthma in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide specialized care for allergy and asthma patients. The NP will work under physician and nursing staff guidance, perform comprehensive exams, and develop care plans within the scope of practice.

The role requires 1–2 years in primary care with 5+ years allergy/asthma experience preferred, APRN licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Travel to satellite offices may be necessary.

Qualifications

• BSN with current licensure to practice nursing in the appropriate state.
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Manage health problems related to allergies, asthma, and immunology.
• Work independently and collaboratively with Physician and nursing staff.
• Perform history and physical exams for new and established patients.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and order diagnostic/laboratory tests in accordance with patient’s needs.
• Develop care plans and implement treatment plans based on clinical decisions.
• Provide excellent, efficient, and patient-focused service in a fast-paced practice.
• Work well with ancillary staff and management to support core values of the practice.
• Travel to satellite offices, as needed.
