Job summary

Med-Care Providers in Nevada seeks an Allergy & Asthma Nurse Practitioner (APRN/AGNP/NP) to independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage allergic diseases and asthma. The role emphasizes preventive medicine, patient education, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, perform diagnostic testing, and coordinate care with specialists while educating patients and families on avoidance strategies and action plans.

Qualifications

• National Board Certification in FNP/AGNP/Adult/Adult-Gerontology NP.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage allergy/asthma patients within Nevada APRN scope.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on guidelines and testing.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (spirometry, FeNO, patch testing if offered).
• Coordinate care with pulmonology, dermatology, ENT, and other specialists as needed.
• Educate patients and families on allergen avoidance and rapid action plans.
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and detailed treatment plans.
