Job summary

Prosegur in Richmond, CA is seeking All Shifts - Unarmed Security Officers to protect clients and customers on-site. You will maintain safety, observe hazards, and report findings while delivering professional customer service and support.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong English communication, and a valid driver's license. Eligible applicants should be prepared for 1st/2nd/3rd shifts and weekend work, with opportunities to grow within a global security leader.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and valid driver license.
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 shifts in East Bay.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
• Willingness to participate in screening processes (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Follow Prosegur and client requirements and post instructions.
• Participate in training and learn general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, and staff professionally.
• Perform routine foot patrols and work in all-weather conditions as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Job Skills / Requirements

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Must be available 2 out of 3 shifts within East Bay
