Job summary

Prosegur is seeking an Unarmed Security Shift Supervisor in Sunbury, OH. The role involves supervising a team of Security Officers, overseeing daily site operations, and maintaining a secure environment for customers and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Security Supervisor experience, a valid State Guard License, and strong leadership and communication skills. This is a full-time, second-shift position with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years of Security Supervisor experience.
• Must have State Guard License.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Open availability to work all shifts and schedules.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Security Officers on designated shift.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations (reviewing daily reports).
• Performance management of staff.
• Training, coaching, and counseling of staff.
• Maintain a visible presence to enforce order and protect property.
• Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to prevent hazards, theft, violence, or infractions.
• Respond to emergencies and provide security assistance as required.
• Prepare detailed reports and daily activity reports (DARs).
• Report irregular or unusual activity and address identified risks.
• Investigate incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.

Prosegur Security is hiring a reliable, experienced, Security Shift Supervisor! The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise a team of Security Officers on designated shift.
• Oversee day to day site operations. (i.e. reviewing daily reports)
• Performance management
• Responsible for training, coaching, and counseling of staff.
• Maintain a strong visible presence among visitors, patrons, and employees to enforce order and protect property.
• Conduct regular foot patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, promptly responding to emergency situations and providing security assistance as required.
• Prepare detailed narrative reports and oversee the maintenance of daily activity reports (DARs).
• Monitor and report irregular or unusual activity, implementing appropriate measures to address any identified risks.
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.

Qualifications:

• Required minimum 2 years of Security Supervisor experience.
• Must have State Guard License
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills are required (Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Open availability to work all shifts and schedules.
• Must possess reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively motivate and guide a team.
• Ability to make clear decisions during crisis or high-stress periods.
• May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature.
• Must be reliable, demonstrate a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior.
• Must have a valid drivers license with no suspensions within 5 yrs.
• Must have a strong customer service background.
• Available Schedule: Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues
