Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking an audiologist to perform diagnostic evaluations, newborn screenings, and fitting of hearing aids and cochlear implants. You will counsel patients, families, and physicians on test results and management options within a patient-centered care environment.

The role requires a Master’s or Au.D. in Audiology, a current hearing aid license, and strong communication and teamwork skills to serve patients across all ages in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Audiology or AuD required.
• Current hearing aid license required.
• CCC-A certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to counsel patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations and newborn hearing screenings.
• Fit and calibrate hearing aids; review options including cochlear implants.
• Counsel patients, families, and physicians on test results and treatment options.
