Job summary

Ceragon Networks, a global innovator in end-to-end wireless connectivity, is seeking an Algorithm Engineer Team Lead to spearhead radio core technologies. You will lead the algorithm team and shape architectures for a high spectral efficiency modem.

This role requires strong MATLAB/Python skills, C/C++, DSP knowledge, and collaborative skills as you work with VLSI, RF, SW and system groups to deliver from concept to a fully operational system.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Mathematics / Physics with mathematically oriented courses.
• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (preferred focus: Communications).
• Proficiency in MATLAB / Python; C/C++ and other programming languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing.
• Experience with PHY of MODEMs is an advantage.
• Managerial experience is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

In This Role You Will

• Lead our Algorithm team responsible for developing Radio core technologies for innovative wireless communication products.
• Staying HO and develop algorithms and architectures for a high spectral efficiency modem in a challenging environment.
• Simulate and test new HW & SW designs in Matlab and real-time, in a full modem and channel environment.
• Collaborate with the VLSI, RF, SW and System groups.
• Take end-to-end ownership, from the concept stages to the fully operational system.

Requirements

• B.Sc. from an accredited university (85+) in Electrical Engineering / Mathematics / Physics with mathematically oriented courses.
• M.Sc. from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering (preferred focus: Communications).
• Proficiency in MATLAB / Python (C/C++ and other programming languages - an advantage).
• Knowledge and experience in digital signal processing.
• Experience with physical layers (PHY) of MODEMs - an advantage.
• Managerial experience - an advantage
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills. Strong academic approach to problem solving.
