Job summary

Ambarella is seeking algorithm engineer interns to develop highly efficient algorithms for our self-driving car, humanoid robots, and a wide range of edge devices. You will work on deep learning and computer vision systems, and design, train, and optimize Transformer models.

Stay current with research in multi-modal LLMs and embodied AI; work with AI compute stacks (PyTorch, CUDA) and robotics toolchains. Strong Python/C/C++/CUDA skills and clear communication are expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience applying deep learning to computer vision tasks (e.g., object detection, tracking, segmentation).
• Experience with robotics software stacks and ROS 2 for robot control and system debugging.
• Familiarity with AI compute stacks and modern DL frameworks (PyTorch, CUDA, ONNX).

AI Vision Processors For Edge ApplicationsOur solutions make cameras smarter by extracting valuable data from high-resolution video streams.Job DescriptionAlgorithm engineer interns at Ambarella are responsible for developing highly efficient algorithms for our self-driving car, humanoid robots and a wide variety of Ambarella’s future products.Responsibilities:Develop deep learning and computer vision algorithms and systems.Design, train, and optimize Transformer models and variants.Stay up to date with the latest research and innovations in multi-modal large language models, embodied AI etc..Qualifications:PhD or master’s in computer science or electrical engineering or related field.Hands-on experience with deep learning and its applications to computer vision (e.g. object detection and tracking, semantic segmentation, vision language models).Hands-on experience with ROS 2 for robot control, sensor integration, communication, and system debugging.Familiarity with AI compute stack: Kubernetes, Ray, vLLM and PyTorch, onnx etc.Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, CUDA.Excellent communication skills.
