You will set ambitious goals, track data, and deliver rigorous coursework including high school-level content and opportunities for college credit through dual enrollment, AP, or IB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
• Florida educator certification is required; IDEA may offer a certification program while teaching.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting is strongly preferred.
• Possession or pursuit of Florida teaching certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet academic expectations.
• Deliver content and grade-level objectives; align texts to curricula.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track progress with formal/informal assessments and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate student progress with families on a weekly basis.
• Utilize technology as a learning tool to improve outcomes and manage tasks.
• Establish a consistent behavior management system aligned to campus initiatives.
• Foster a positive school culture and collaborate with families and students.
• Attend weekly manager check-ins, grade-level meetings, and after-school duties.
• Commit to 40+ hours on campus per week and participate in additional duties as needed.
