Job summary

MGT of America Consulting, LLC/ MGT is seeking an experienced Math Content Specialist - Instructional Coaching for the Education Solutions Group in Dayton, Ohio. The role focuses on coaching teachers in mathematics, mentoring school-based coaches, and partnering with district staff to improve math outcomes.

The candidate will analyze standards and data, design scaffolded instruction, and lead professional development while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Math endorsement, specialization, or algebra expertise.
• Strong understanding and instructional experience in Math (elementary).
• Five (5)+ years coaching teachers, coaches, or leading adults.
• Ability to travel 4–5 days a week to client/school-sites within Dayton, Ohio (on-site).

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of standards, district expectations, school priorities, and student performance trends to support math outcomes.
• Analyze state standards, assessment data, and practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead design and implementation of scaffolded, standards-aligned instruction across classrooms and schools.
• Lead data-driven instruction through analysis and targeted planning.
• Model high-impact instructional strategies aligned to district initiatives.
• Provide research-based resources and strategies for rigorous instruction.
• Coach teachers and school teams through observation, feedback, and goal setting.
• Develop instructional plans and pacing with differentiated coaching strategies.
• Lead professional development for teachers and staff.
• Complete weekly and monthly summaries of work.
• Contribute to product/process development to support the work.
