Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• TCOLE Peace Officer license required by hire date.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check.
• Four years full-time experience as a commissioned peace officer OR a Bachelor’s degree OR four years military service OR any combination thereof.

Responsibilities

• Enforces provisions of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and related laws.
• Inspects licensed premises and investigates complaints.
• Conducts independent investigations on licensed premises.
• Prepares and files administrative and criminal cases for prosecution.
• Assists in prosecutions and testifies in court.
