Job summary

Partners Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a part-time LADC/ADC-T to join our outpatient substance use disorder program in Duluth. The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC/ADC-T) provides individual and group counseling to support clients in achieving recovery and personal well-being.

This role ensures delivery of services in compliance with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations and 245G standards.

Qualifications

• ASAM Six Dimensions assessment and treatment planning.
• Initial Service Plan development following immediate health needs.
• Accurate documentation of assessments, plans, progress notes and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments using ASAM Six Dimensions and develop individualized treatment plans with goals.
• Ensure each client has an Initial Service Plan addressing safety and needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation: Assessments, Plans, Progress Notes, and Termination Summaries.
• Provide individual and group counseling for substance use, mental health and related behaviors.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups and participate in supervision and treatment teams.
• Collaborate with referrals, probation officers, social services, and other treatment team members.
• Follow safety and security protocols to ensure client, staff, and self-safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 12:30pm

Pay Range: $28.85 - $35.10 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:

Partners Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a part-time LADC/ADC-T to join our outpatient substance use disorder program in Duluth. The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC/ADC-T) provides individual and group counseling to support clients in achieving recovery and personal well-being. This role ensures delivery of services in compliance with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations and 245G standards. The counselor addresses substance use, mental health, and personal or family challenges whilemaintainingthorough documentation of all treatment services.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

Under the direction of the Program Manager and Treatment Director, the LADC/ADC-T will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessment and assessment summary using the ASAM Six Dimensions and develop individualized treatment plans with goals, objectives, and interventions.
• Ensure each client has an Initial Service Plan addressing immediate health, safety, and preliminary service needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including Initial Service Plans, Comprehensive Assessments, Individual Treatment Plans, Progress Notes, Treatment Plan Reviews, Summaries at Termination, and Continuing Care Plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling, education, and behavioral modification strategies to address substance use, mental health issues and criminogenic behaviors.
• Facilitate psycho-educational and therapeutic groups as part of the recovery process.
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and clinical supervision sessions to review and update client progress.
• Collaborate with referral sources, probation officers, social service agencies, and other members of the treatment team.
• Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure the safety of clients, staff, and self.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of DHS 245G regulations, 12 Core Functions, and industry best practices.
