Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a Clinic Research Assistant to reside in the Albuquerque area. You will support study activities by documenting on case report forms, obtaining records, collecting clinical data, and performing phlebotomy as directed.

You will enter data into sponsor portals and maintain organized files for audits. The role involves coordinating appointments, triaging calls, and following up over the long term.

Qualifications

• HS/GED with 2+ years of research experience, or Medical Assistant background with clinical exposure.
• Experience as Laboratory Technician with at least 6 months of clinical exposure is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Documents on case report forms.
• Retrieve medical records (electronic and/or paper).
• May collect clinical data such as vital signs, EKGs, weights, etc.
• Perform phlebotomy as directed by the study plan and transport specimens to the laboratory.
• Enter data accurately in sponsor portals.
• Maintain organized files for sponsor audits.
• Collect, process, store and ship blood/tissue specimens as required.
• Collect source documents.
• File and pull study records as needed by physicians and study monitors.
• Schedule study appointments for patients.
• Triage research-related calls to proper source.
• Responsible for long-term follow-up.
• Perform other functions as required.
