Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician to support hospital locations in the Albany, NY area. This full-time role focuses on maintaining facilities and medical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring clinics operate safely and efficiently.

You will plan and execute repairs, manage inventories, and coordinate with managers across MVH locations. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and at least three years of maintenance experience is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in construction or maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building construction.
• Experience with power tools and carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Schedule and track maintenance tasks.
• Manage painting, tile care, and general repairs in regional programs.
• Coordinate travel within MVH guidelines and budgets.
• Inspect and document facility damages and plan variances.
