Job summary

You will collaborate with the Alation vendor, onboard projects, and perform upgrades while ensuring best practices for data governance and access control.

A strong background in SSO SAML, LDAP and GUI-driven administration is required. This role involves coordinating changes, reviewing API access, and ensuring secure operation as customers

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in platform support or data governance.
• Mandatory skills: Alation, SSO SAML Authentication, GUI, LDAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage users, roles and groups with appropriate privileges.
• Collaborate with vendor to influence Alation roadmap and feature requests.
• Onboard new projects into the Alation platform.
• Configure SSO SAML authentication and LDAP integration.
• Perform platform upgrades, patches and bug fixes.
• Maintain security best practices and firewall rules.
• Support data stewards with guidance on issues.
• Coordinate with vendors for bugs and enhancements.
