Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Kodiak, Alaska. This position requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy with NPTE, and a current state license along with CPR certification.

The role involves evaluating and treating patients in a rehabilitation setting, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in the process of licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct physical therapy care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
• Set realistic and achievable goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient and collaborate with other disciplines to achieve team goals.
