Job summary

STG Inc in Alaska seeks a Tower Foreman to lead and supervise field activities, directing tower and microwave installation, civil work, and related construction. You will coordinate with the Project Manager, manage crews, and ensure safety and quality on remote sites.

The role requires extensive travel across Alaska, climbing towers, and hands-on leadership to deliver projects safely and efficiently in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years in telecommunications tower construction.
• Three years leading tower erection projects.
• Experience installing microwave antenna systems.
• CDL preferred; required within twelve months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all field activities for telecommunications tower construction, microwave installation, civil construction, maintenance, and repair.
• Report to the Project Manager to receive directives and coordinate site-specific work plans.
• Plan, organize, assign, and supervise daily work to maximize crew productivity.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, drawings, schedules, and quality standards.
• Travel throughout Alaska to support remote construction projects (up to 100%).
