Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Alaska is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to maintain a clean, sanitary processing area in our busy facility. Under sanitation leadership, you will ensure lockout/tagout, assist with tear-downs, and support production set-up while following safety and hygiene standards.

This role requires teamwork, the ability to read English, and willingness to work in cold, wet environments. A high school diploma is preferred and a lift truck license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a sanitation or related role.
• Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Lift truck license may be required for lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors and removes debris to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Cleans air lines and hoses feeding processing lines.
• Removes and replaces equipment for production setup needs.
• Trained in safe chemical use, mixing and handling.
• Sanitizes production equipment for maintenance and setup crews.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment and work areas as directed.
• Maintains cleanliness of chemical room and related areas.
• Cleans wash buckets and handrails; follows lead or foreperson guidance.
