Job summary

Foundation Health Partners is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital to join our inpatient care team. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with physicians and care staff to deliver high-quality nursing care.

You will assess needs, develop and implement discharge plans, document care accurately, and participate in ongoing quality improvement while promoting patient safety and family education.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Alaska RN license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.
• Associate degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Professional certifications are preferred.
• Experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and revise the plan of care with multidisciplinary input.
• Implement the care plan through direct patient care and coordination.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Document assessment, plan, and outcomes in the patient record.
• Provide evidence-based care and participate in education of staff and patients.
• Promote continuity of care through clear communication with the care team.
• Supervise staff and workflow as needed.
