Job summary

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) seeks a Regional Field Manager to identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders across Alaska, driving policy reforms and community action. The role is anchored in the Anchorage area with a focus on mobilizing volunteers for AFP initiatives and endorsed candidates.

You will organize events, train activists, and maintain ongoing engagement to ensure sustained participation, including evenings and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in grassroots advocacy or community organizing is preferred.
• Ability to recruit, motivate and manage volunteers and activists.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists across Alaska and recruit them as local leaders.
• Equip and connect leaders to AFP training and resources.
• Organize events and engage the public through various channels.
• Maintain regular contact to keep activists educated and active.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors and ensure compliance.
