Job summary

The Alaska Democratic Party is seeking a Regional Organizing Director to lead a diverse regional organizing team in Alaska in 2026 to elect Mary Peltola to the U.S. Senate and Democrats up and down the ballot.

Regional Organizing Directors coach and manage Organizers to hit data-informed organizing metrics. They should be skilled managers, positive and capable of motivating a diverse team of organizers, with experience developing accountability and creativity to overcome challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and multitasking under deadlines.
• Experience managing staff or volunteers; commitment to equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Organizers to recruit and manage volunteers for voter contact.
• Develop regional strategies and systems to meet daily/weekly metrics and data integrity.
• Build relationships with local leaders to increase buy-in for the campaign.
• Implement new communications and digital strategies in the region.
• Ensure staff are trained on technical aspects and productivity improvements.
• Maintain momentum in a high-stress campaign environment.
• Meet deadlines and report challenges to state leadership.
