Job summary

The Goose Creek Correctional Center, operated by the State of Alaska Department of Corrections, is seeking Adult Probation Officers at multiple levels. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field.

Responsibilities

• Complete classification reviews and evaluate prisoners for community supervision eligibility.
• Process release paperwork and related documentation (Notices of Release to Supervision, Interstate Compact, etc.).
• Maintain knowledge of release processing rules and procedures.
• Coordinate with EM Officers to schedule inmate housing/workplace visits.
• Review judgments for court-ordered treatments and programs.
