Job summary

Hansen Gress, an Alaska-based MSP, seeks an experienced Technical Lead (L3) to own complex client environments and escalations. You’ll operate across Help Desk, Projects, and Centralized Services, driving process improvements and documentation. You’ll mentor others and elevate technical standards across the team.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of substantial IT support experience in MSP or IT services.
• Experience identifying patterns across tickets and client environments.
• Strong communication skills with clients and leadership.
• Documentation mindset and leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of high-priority escalations across Help Desk, Projects, and Centralized Services.
• Resolve advanced issues in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, DNS and security configurations.
• Configure, maintain, and support Hyper-V virtualization environments and VM migrations.
• Administer Azure Virtual Desktop environments and related cloud technologies.
• Configure firewalls, switches, VPNs, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Develop automation using PowerShell/CMD and contribute to playbooks.
• Mentor junior technicians and improve team processes.
