Job summary

The University of Alaska CFOS in Fairbanks seeks an HR Coordinator to serve as the primary HR contact for a busy, multi-location unit. You will work with the HR Manager to handle HR actions, coordinate searches, and assist with employee relations and labor compliance.

This is a 12-month, non-exempt position located on the UAF Troth Yeddha’ Campus, 35–40 hours weekly, with a competitive salary and full benefits, including retirement options, annual leave, 12 holidays, tuition waivers, and health

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and two years of progressively responsible experience related to Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Serve as primary HR contact for a busy, multi-location unit and coordinate HR actions.
• Assist with employee relations and labor compliance, and support payroll and timesheet issues for ~150 employees.
