Job summary

STG Inc, a Calista Brice subsidiary delivering infrastructure projects across Alaska, seeks an Equipment Operator for Prince of Wales Island, AK. You will operate heavy equipment, perform maintenance, prepare sites, and support safe, efficient civil construction work in challenging Alaskan conditions.

This onsite role requires reading grade stakes, following plans, and collaborating with multiple trades. Local candidates preferred; w/ strong safety focus and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe operation of heavy construction equipment.
• Working knowledge of construction materials and methods.
• Knowledge of basic preventative maintenance for heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in extreme weather and remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment on rural sites in Alaska.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic site prep.
• Follow directions from foreman and coordinate with trades.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and compliance with project specs.
