Job summary

STG Inc. is seeking a Laborer to support construction projects across Alaska, starting on Prince of Wales Island, AK. You will perform general labor tasks, assist crews, and help with site preparation and material handling.

Expect physically demanding work in varying weather, adherence to safety policies, and a collaborative, team-based environment. This local-hire position does not include housing accommodations and may require long hours and some overtime.

Qualifications

• No formal education or degree required.
• First Aid/CPR training or ability to become certified.
• Ability to pass drug, driving (if applicable) and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction and manual labor to support projects.
• Assist with site preparation, material handling, and equipment support.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Load, offload, move and organize supplies at barge landings, airstrips and job sites.
• Work long hours up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, often in adverse conditions.
