Job summary

Repsol is seeking a highly motivated Drilling Engineering Intern for the Wells Exploration Team in Anchorage, Alaska, Summer 2027. You will assist in well planning, data analysis, and dashboard development to support the Silverwind Exploration Project.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, gain hands-on exposure to drilling engineering concepts, and present results to leadership at the internship's end.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Petroleum Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ideal for junior-level students with graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.

Responsibilities

• Support drilling engineers with well planning activities, engineering calculations, data analysis, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track drilling KPIs, schedules, costs, and performance metrics.
• Create and enhance Excel-based engineering tools, reports, and project databases.
• Assist with well programs, engineering reports, and project updates.
• Present project findings and key learnings to leadership at internship conclusion.
