Job summary

ASRC Talent Solutions seeks a Drilling Engineer in Anchorage, Alaska to supervise well planning and operations for onshore projects. You will coordinate the well design lifecycle, liaise with field teams, and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

This role requires 10+ years in oil & gas, strong HPHT and remote operation experience, and ability to manage cost, risk, and schedules. You will provide 24/7 engineering support and drive lessons learned across projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in oil & gas upstream with international involvement.
• 5+ years of well design and operational experience.
• Experience in Alaska/arctic environments with winter-ready rigs (≥5 years).
• Knowledge of HPHT drilling and remote location projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising well design and construction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure design and operations meet objectives, regulations, standards, and environment-friendly practices.
• Prepare inputs for permits, technical specifications, and scope of works.
• Provide 24/7 engineering support to operations and manage service providers.
