Leigh and Co. is seeking a Lead Wedding Coordinator in Alaska for the 2026 season and beyond. This contract role offers flexibility in scheduling, with pay ranging from $350 - $400 for project work. Responsibilities include managing ceremony and reception setups, leading the rehearsal, and being the primary point of contact for couples and vendors. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in wedding or event planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend a final details call with clients approximately 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
• Lead and facilitate the ceremony rehearsal on the day prior to the wedding.
• Serve as the primary advocate for the couple onsite.
• Oversee ceremony and reception setup in alignment with the event design.
• Manage full wedding day execution.
• Greet, direct, and act as the main point of contact for all vendors.
