Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service in Alaska (JBER) seeks a Full-Time Engineering Flight Chief (GS-0801-14) to lead a diverse team of engineers and architects at the 673rd Civil Engineering Squadron. You will direct design, construction, and infrastructure planning for multi‑billion‑dollar portfolios supporting two Air Force Wings and an Army division.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain security clearance, and a PE license with ABET‑accredited degree.

Qualifications

• Engineering leadership overseeing design, construction & infrastructure programs.
• Cradle-to-grave project management ensuring lifecycle cost efficiency.
• Must be U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree; PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of engineers and architects on Air Force projects.
• Oversee multi-billion-dollar facilities portfolios and lifecycle cost optimization.
• Develop comprehensive program & project plans; ensure quality and mission requirements.
• Coordinate with DoD PPBS processes and Army guidance as needed.
