Job summary

Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC) is seeking a Corporate Recruiter II to drive full-cycle recruitment for its Alaska-based subsidiaries. You will partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding.

The role aligns talent acquisition with business objectives, ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, and supports shareholder opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five years recruiting experience in corporate/government contracting environments.
• Three to five years of creative sourcing experience.
• Experience with ATS (iCIMS preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build relationships with hiring managers and leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass Non-DOT pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process to meet staffing goals and timelines.
• Participate in career fairs and community events to promote UIC and its subsidiaries.
• Partner with hiring managers to review staffing needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Maintain communication with hiring managers regarding candidate progress and requisition status.
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Create and implement sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates.
• Screen and evaluate candidates for experience, skills, and culture fit.
• Schedule interviews, gather feedback, and facilitate timely communication.
• Conduct pre-employment reference checks and assist with offers.
• Maintain onboarding trackers and coordinate pre-employment to onboarding processes.
• Support HR reporting and identify process improvements.
