Job summary

Talently in Eureka, CA is seeking skilled security installation technicians to install and service electronic security and life-safety systems. You will work hands-on to install intrusion and fire alarm systems, CCTV, and access control, while maintaining high customer service standards.

You will use hand tools and low-voltage equipment, read plans, and document work in the company app. Training and growth opportunities are available as you advance technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Low-voltage installation, service, or repair experience.
• Working knowledge of fire alarm, intrusion alarm, CCTV, or access control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret plans for system layouts.
• Strong customer service skills and professional conduct.
• Ability to pass a LiveScan background check and maintain clean DMV record.

Must-Have Skills:

• Working knowledge of fire alarm, intrusion alarm, CCTV, or access control systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and low-voltage equipment and interpret system plans.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
• Dependability, punctuality, and professional communication and conduct.
• Ability to pass a LiveScan background check and meet company vehicle driving requirements, including a clean DMV record.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Honeywell/Resideo, DMP, Bosch, Notifier, Gamewell-FCI, or similar systems.
• Experience installing, testing, or servicing residential or commercial fire and intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and networked systems.
• California WBFAA or Oregon LEA apprentice or journeyman enrollment.
• Current ACE card or relevant construction trades experience.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
