Job summary

Brinks Home in Denver, CO is seeking a hands-on Alarm Service Technician to install, service and inspect low-voltage security systems at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot issues, replace panels and peripherals, demonstrate system operation to customers, and ensure safety and quality on every job. Travel to customer homes daily, lift up to 30 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
• Must be ok with climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Must be ok working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics and basements.
• Low‑voltage license or alarm installation certification.
• NICET I.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage alarm equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and replace panels, peripherals, alarms, etc.
• Drive to customer homes to perform service visits.
• Demonstrate system operation and educate customers.
• Conduct thorough walkthrough/site evaluation to ensure the system meets customer needs.
• Install and test operations of equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal verification.
• Identify opportunities to improve system usability and provide recommendations.
• Maintain safety practices and keep workspace clean and organized.
