Job summary

Becklar in Rexburg, Idaho seeks a part-time customer support specialist to help protect subscribers by promptly processing alarms, dispatching authorities, and documenting responses.

You’ll work 16–29 hours weekly, with starting pay of $14.50/hour and potential increases after 90 days; Graves starting pay is $15.50/hour with increases to $16.00.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Available to work Day/Early morning shifts.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Able to type at least 40 wpm.
• 24/7 operation; requires one weekend day per week or every other weekend and holiday availability.
• Able to commit for at least 6 months and pass a 2-week paid training.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Process alarm signals quickly and professionally during stressful situations.
• Dispatch authorities to subscribers’ locations in emergencies and notify responsible parties.
• Assist alarm company partners with alarm system tests to ensure proper functioning.
• Document all alarm responses accurately in the computer system.
• Learn and use new software to complete tasks and stay organized.
• Participate in ongoing training to ensure accurate alarm handling and professional growth.
