Job summary

Securitas is seeking an Alarm Management Operator in Seattle, WA for a full-time night shift. You will monitor client alarm systems, coordinate with responders, and document incidents with accuracy. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Weekly pay is available, along with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training. You’ll be part of a team focused on protecting client assets and ensuring rapid, appropriate responses to incidents.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
  • 1+ years of experience in Security and 1+ years of experience in customer service.
  • Strong computer / technology skills needed.
  • Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
  • Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to intrusion, fire, life safety, and other alarm systems throughout client sites.
  • Dispatch and coordinate with security personnel, emergency responders, law enforcement, and site leadership during incidents.
  • Assess alarm activations and determine appropriate response actions based on established procedures and risk level.
  • Conduct real-time incident monitoring and provide accurate documentation of events, actions taken, and outcomes.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, and urgent situations.
  • Communicate professionally with internal customers, external partners, and emergency services during both routine and emergency situations.
  • Support business continuity by identifying, reporting, and tracking security-related risks and operational issues.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple alarms, incidents, and priorities in a fast-paced operations center environment.

Wage: $32.00/HR

Available Schedule: Thursday - Sunday 10pm-8:45am
