Job summary

Valtir Llc seeks Welders for 2nd shift at our Pell City plant. You’ll apply welding processes to join, fabricate, and repair metal parts according to layouts, orders, blueprints, and sketches. Shift: Mon–Thu 4:30pm–3:00am.

Starting rate $22.50–$27.50 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour shift differential. We offer a competitive benefits package and a safe, team‑oriented workplace. Requirements: minimum one year welding experience; able to pass 3G vertical‑up weld test to AWS 1.1; ability to read

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year welding experience.
• Ability to pass 3G, vertical up weld test to AWS 1.1 standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fillet and groove welding equipment.
• Ability to read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

As a Welder, you’ll apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm – 3:00am

What you'll do:

• Weld complex assemblies
• Operate fabrication machinery as needed
• Accurately measure within specified tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints

Qualifications - External

What you'll need:
