Job summary

RiverSpring is seeking an AL-Nurse Manager in Riverdale, NY, to lead clinical and wellness programs for older adults. In this role, you will coordinate assessments, service plans, and care delivery for residents in Assisted Living and related programs.

Under the Director of Nursing, you will supervise nurses and aides, manage documentation, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program and NY RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervision and oversight in AL, SNF or similar.
• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer’s care is essential.

Responsibilities

The RiverSpring Living campus is set on 32 acres overlooking the Hudson River, in Riverdale, New York.RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care.

The RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides comprehensive and personalized home healthcare services for older adults to maximize their independence at home.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the AL-Nurse Manager will coordinate healthcare and wellness programs, as well as personal care services for residents in our Assisted Living or Adult Care facilities. This role involves clinical assessments, oversight, and implementation of individualized service plans developed in collaboration with residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of health-related services for the Assisted Living Residence (ALR) and Assisted Living Program (ALP).


• Participate in the assessment and screening of applicants to determine appropriateness for care.


• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized service plans (ISP) based on assessments.


• Conduct assessments and reassessments to identify residents' healthcare needs and adjust care plans as necessary.


• Document resident care and changes in status.


• Supervise program nurses and home health aides.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN)


• Current Registered Nurse New York State License


• Experience in staff supervision and medication oversight in Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, or similar environments


• Strong management and supervisory skills, with experience in assessments, care planning, and reassessments


• Experience with Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s patients is a must


• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing services to older adults in settings such as home care, residential care, adult care facilities, or rehabilitation

Compensation:

• Annual salary: $115,000 - $125,000
