Job summary

RiverSpring is seeking an AL-Nurse Manager in Riverdale, NY to oversee clinical operations for the Assisted Living Residence and Program. Under the Director of Nursing, you will coordinate healthcare and wellness services, perform clinical assessments, and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with residents.

The role requires BSN, NY RN license, and experience supervising staff, with dementia care experience essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN).
• Current New York State RN license.
• Experience supervising staff and overseeing medications in AL, NH, or similar.
• Strong management skills with assessments and care planning.
• Experience with dementia/alzheimer's care is essential.
• Minimum 2 years serving older adults in relevant settings.

The RiverSpring Living campus is set on 32 acres overlooking the Hudson River, in Riverdale, New York.RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care.

The RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides comprehensive and personalized home healthcare services for older adults to maximize their independence at home.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the AL-Nurse Manager will coordinate healthcare and wellness programs, as well as personal care services for residents in our Assisted Living or Adult Care facilities. This role involves clinical assessments, oversight, and implementation of individualized service plans developed in collaboration with residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of health-related services for the Assisted Living Residence (ALR) and Assisted Living Program (ALP).
• Participate in the assessment and screening of applicants to determine appropriateness for care.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized service plans (ISP) based on assessments.
• Conduct assessments and reassessments to identify residents' healthcare needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document resident care and changes in status.
• Supervise program nurses and home health aides.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (BSN)
• Current Registered Nurse New York State License
• Experience in staff supervision and medication oversight in Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, or similar environments
• Strong management and supervisory skills, with experience in assessments, care planning, and reassessments
• Experience with Dementia and/or Alzheimer’s patients is a must
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing services to older adults in settings such as home care, residential care, adult care facilities, or rehabilitation

Compensation:

• Annual salary: $115,000 - $125,000
