Job summary

Insight Global seeks a hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Technical Consultant with strong experience in email development, advanced personalization, and complex journey orchestration. The role acts as a technical bridge between business stakeholders, marketing teams, AJO, and email/content platforms such as Knak.

The ideal candidate will work directly within email HTML, develop conditional and dynamic content, troubleshoot platform limitations, and lead technical proofs of concept while

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer and email development.
• Experience building emails within AJO.
• Proficient in HTML email coding.
• Experience with advanced personalization and dynamic content.
• Strong understanding of journey execution and orchestration.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex AJO scenarios.
• Excellent stakeholder communication.
• Ability to lead technical proofs of concept.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and troubleshoot email experiences within Adobe Journey Optimizer.
• Work hands-on with HTML email code and modular content components.
• Develop advanced personalization, dynamic content, and conditional logic within AJO.
• Troubleshoot scenarios where standard AJO UI or email-builder capabilities do not meet requirements.
• Understand how HTML, personalization logic, and customer data work together within AJO email execution.
• Support the integration and mapping of email content between Knak and AJO.
• Identify configuration requirements, technical limitations, exceptions, and appropriate workarounds.
• Build and troubleshoot complex customer journeys and journey orchestration within AJO.
• Partner with marketing, business, development, platform, and configuration teams to ensure solutions are aligned.
• Lead or participate in technical discovery sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Lead proofs of concept for new AJO capabilities, integrations, or personalization use cases.
• Provide an advisory perspective rather than operating solely as a development resource or order taker.
• Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong initiative and independently investigate and solve technical challenges.
