Job summary

American River Center is hiring an Administrator in Training (AIT) for a full-time role. The position offers a salary range of $25.00 - $34.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus growth and training opportunities.

The AIT program aims to develop the knowledge and skills to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and to supervise daily operations in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in long-term care.
• Ability to thrive in a complex environment.
• Ability to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people professionally and respectfully.
• Ability to understand and follow regulations.
• Ability to adapt and handle pressure.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and direct day-to-day facility operations.
• Ensure day-to-day functions align with current federal, state, and local standards and regulations for long-term care facilities.
• Work under an Administrator Preceptor to complete the training program as per state regulations and past experience.
