Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking an Assembly Integration & Test Engineer to take satellites from test bench to launch. You will build, integrate, test, and verify payloads, perform environmental testing (vibration, TVAC, EMI), and author test procedures while coordinating with mechanical, electrical, systems, PM, software, and product teams.

The role emphasizes strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting, with a DoD clearance path and the chance to work across multiple disciplines on space

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with TS would be a plus.
• 5+ years in a testing role (3+ with graduate degree) in aerospace preferred.
• Experience writing, performing, and documenting tests.
• Environmental testing experience: Vibration, TVAC, EMI, Radiation.
• Experience organizing test campaigns from idea to completion.
• Familiar with aerospace testing standards such as GEVS.

Responsibilities

• Take satellites from test bench to launch, build, integrate, test, and verify products.
• Perform electrical and mechanical integration and environmental testing (TVAC, vibration, EMI).
• Author and execute test procedures, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate across teams.
