Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer in Colorado to lead electrical system design, collaborate with business development and program management, and support multiple satellite missions with a multi-payload configuration. You will work across teams including systems, discipline, and AI&T to drive innovative space solutions.

The role requires 5+ years as an Electrical Engineer, US citizenship, and prospective TS/SCI eligibility with DoD/IC background.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer with spacecraft knowledge
US Citizen eligible for government programs
Experience with electrical architectures and EMI/RF testing preferred

Responsibilities

Technical lead for electrical system design and subsystem procurements
Create and maintain electrical architectures with internal teams and customers
Perform system optimization trades analyzing system performance and budgets
Craft and manage system specifications and verification techniques with ambiguous customer requirements
Support program and product management; liaison with customers to ensure smooth execution
Inspect and review engineering documents and hardware
Participate in integration and test campaigns at spacecraft manufacturer site
