Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic classification and one year verifiable job-related work experience.
• Must pass color perception test.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) if required.
• FAA background checks may be required for access privileges.

Responsibilities

• Verify quality of workmanship and airworthiness of aircraft and components.
• Receive inspection of materials and initial aircraft inspection at Maintenance Bases.
• Perform overhaul inspection of aircraft at maintenance locations.
• Perform NDT and borescope inspections; conduct FOD walks as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of General Procedures Manual (GPM) and related technical manuals.
