North State Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Inspector to ensure airworthiness and compliance with FARs, Repair Station Manuals, and maintenance programs. You will perform receiving inspections, RII checks (if qualified), and final acceptance of parts and work performed by vendors.

This role requires A&P certification, 5+ years Boeing transport experience, and proficiency with inspection methods, documentation, and safety practices.

Formación

• Must have A&P certification.
• 737 GenFam course on transport category aircraft and Airbus.
• 5+ years documented/verifiable maintenance experience on Boeing transport category aircraft.
• Experience in installation and rigging of flight controls, sheet metal repairs, avionics or inspection of aircraft.
• Must meet the requirements of FAR: 145.155.

Responsabilidades

• Make decisions when required with regard to the airworthiness of aircraft, engines, components and accessories.
• Conduct inspections and related functions as directed by job cards, maintenance manuals, A.D.’s and other documents included or specified in the work package.
• Conduct receiving inspection of all components, materials, tooling, and hardware as required by this manual and applicable FAR’s.
• Conduct RII inspections (if qualified) in accordance with approved procedures and maintenance program requirements.
• Review paperwork to ensure compliance with Repair Station Manual and all applicable FAR’s.
• Inspect, determine airworthiness and approve final acceptance of incoming material and work performed by contracted vendors.
• Conduct preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all articles processed by the shop and record results.
• Ensure adherence to all RII inspection items and procedures.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities of an aircraft maintenance mechanic when not performing Inspector duties.
• Read, understand and apply Repair Station & Quality Control Manuals and applicable regulations; comply with inspection methods and tools used.
