Job summary

North State Aviation in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Inspector with A&P certification to assess airworthiness and approve final acceptance of in‑house and vendor work. You will perform receiving inspections, RII inspections when qualified, review maintenance paperwork, and ensure compliance with Repair Station and FAR requirements.

Five+ years on Boeing transport category aircraft is preferred.

Qualifications

• A&P certified aircraft maintenance inspector
• Experience with Boeing transport category aircraft preferred
• Knowledge of FARs and repair station procedures

Responsibilities

• Assess airworthiness and approve final acceptance of incoming materials and work
• Conduct inspections per job cards, manuals, and ADs
• Perform receiving, in-process, hidden damage, and final inspections
• Complete RII inspections if qualified and adhere to inspection procedures
• Review and ensure compliance of maintenance forms, tags, logs and tally sheets
• Perform other duties of an aircraft maintenance mechanic when not inspecting
• Read and apply Repair Station and Quality Control manuals and regulations
