Job summary

Conch Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Airtable Developer for a 3–6 month remote engagement. You will design scalable Airtable schemas, implement REST API integrations, and develop automation and custom extensions using Airtable Blocks SDK.

• Advanced data modeling & database architecture.
• Junction & schema design to avoid base bloat and API rate limits.
• Native Airtable Scripting (ES6+ JS).
• API operations & data transformation.
• Custom Extensions SDK: React.js, Node.js, HTML/CSS for Airtable Blocks SDK.

Responsibilities

• Design schemas that stay within Airtable record and API rate limits.
• Develop and maintain Airtable automations, scripts, and integrations.
• Integrate Airtable with external services via REST API, webhooks, and middleware.
• Implement data transformation and batch processing for API calls.
• Build custom UI extensions using React/Node for Airtable Blocks SDK.

Position: Airtable Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 3-6 Months CTH

• Need to be good at the admin and development (integration) features,


• Airtable REST API,


• Middleware Mastery (Make / Zapier / n8n,


• Custom Webhooks & Backend Services(AWS Lambda, Vercel, Firebase))


• Advanced Data Modeling & Database Architecture


• Junction & Schema Design: design schemas that stay well under Airtable record limits and API rate limits, avoiding \"base bloat,\" and structuring records so formula calculations don't degrade base performance.


• Native Airtable Scripting (ES6+ JS): Writing asynchronous JavaScript (async/await) inside Airtable Scripting Blocks and Automation Action Scripts.


• API Operations & Data Transformation: Querying records programmatically using select Records Async(), handling bulk batch updates (writing custom batching algorithms to process data in chunks of 50 records per API call), and transforming array payloads via .map(), .filter(), and .reduce().


• Custom Extensions SDK: Proficiency with React.js, Node.js, and HTML/CSS to build full custom extensions using the Airtable Blocks SDK for custom user interfaces or advanced data processing.
